International Conference titled: "Museum Communications at a Crossroads: Empowering Our Communities in Times of Change and Crisis" is to be held in Tbilisi, Georgia on from 4 through December 7.
The conference will focus on the crucial role museums play in navigating periods of change and crisis.
We will create a conference environment that will enable participants the opportunity to not only be inspired by keynote speakers and presenters, but to also have a dialogue with experts and colleagues on issues of a hight importance of the field.
Changes and crises present unique opportunities for cultural institutions to inspire hope and drive transformation within communities. As we face challenges such as, but not limited to, changing population demographics, pandemics, climate change, destruction of cultural heritage, and etc. We need to discuss how the cultural, educational and scientific institutions use communication and engagement strategies to empower communities and respond to these significant upheavals.
We will discuss how cultural institutions are implementing innovative and inclusive approaches in the following areas such as: Community Resilience and Inclusivity; Fostering Dialogue and Collaboration; Promoting Civic Engagement; Creating Safe Spaces; Inspiring and Motivating Responsible Action; Advancing Sustainable and Regenerative Development and focuses on the areas such as: Community Resilience and Museums; Innovative Communication Strategies; Museum Adaptations and Best Practices; Role of Cultural Institution in Social Justice and etc.
More than 100 delegates from 40 Countries around the globe will gather in Tbilisi to share knowledge and discuss some of the most important aspects of the field of communication.
